because not everything here was planned
When people ask about us, they often wonder how we found this old house in Sankt Peter in Holz. The answer is still the same: The house was looking for one fool and found two of us to renovate it.
We were actually looking for something completely different. But while searching the internet,this place kept coming back. “It doesn’t hurt to take a look,” we said – and shortly after, we were standing right in front of it. One glance, one feeling – and somehow we just knew: this is it.
but grew with us over the years
Since 2010 we have been renovating and shaping this place –step by step, room by room.
Massive granite blocks, crooked walls, old beams – the house has challenged us and taught us patience.With dust, sweat and laughter it has become our home.
Finished? Not yet. But perhaps that is exactly where the magic lies.
and how it continues today
Retirement has changed our rhythm – and with it the desire to do less “must” and more “may”. Today we only cook for our house guests: dishes with a story and time for conversation.
because we love what we do
otherwise we wouldn’t have been doing this for so long.
Decoration, kitchen, garden – everything comes together over time.
