right on the Drau Cycle Path and the Ciclovia Alpe Adria

in St. Peter in Holz/Lendorf in the Drau Valley
At the gateway to Lake Millstatt, right on the B 100 – the linfeline of Carinthia– lies Landhaus Gritschacher. Here, the Drau Cycle Path, the Ciclovia Alpe Adria, and the St. James Way meet. With so many places to explore nearby, the Landhaus easily becomes more than just a stopover.
with four individually styled rooms
This house has grown over time, and its rooms feel the same way. Wood, details, and colours show the traces of time; names tell their stories far better than numbers ever could. Each of our four rooms has its own bathroom, reliable Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds.
and Slow Food as our approach to cooking
For us, food is about mindful enjoyment. Our kitchen connects Carinthia with the wider world: the classics remain as they are, while some dishes are reinterpreted with local ingredients. Regional, seasonal, made with care, and without hurry. In the morning, breakfast tastes of Carinthia – partly homemade, much of it from regional producers we know personally. In the evening, we serve dishes with a story in the old inn room, exclusively for our house guests. We are also happy to accommodate dietary requirements by prior arrangement.
has gently arrived in the 21st century
Those who come to us are not looking for a design hotel, but for a house that has grown over time, with character and genuine encounters. We have been running Landhaus Gritschacher since 2010 with patience, humour, and joy. We don’t just run a business; we are hosts at heart. We share what we value with people who recognise something of themselves in it. Our wish is for guests to arrive, let go, and perhaps take a little Carinthian ease home with them.
